5 Tier Wedding Cakes ( Embroidery and Crimping method)

These pink and white wedding cakes are baked and designed for Sharon and Shane's wedding last february. I love the colour pink and white. Simple decoration with few types of sugar flower. The softness of the theme colour can only be viewed when you have a close up look. I particilarly love the intricate lace design on the cakes. It took time to have that kind of design but it's worth it.

I purposely took an outdoor snapshot of these cake to show that this type of cakes or to be exact, this colour theme is also suitable for a garden theme wedding. You don't have to stick with green colour cake to have a garden wedding where most of the decorations are in green colour or white colour. Let your cake stands with a different colour theme and if you like, add a dash of leaves around the cakes or the table where you will the cake cutting ceremony.

The design on the cake can be seen here. i have combined crimping method with some embroidery works. I light pink ribbon on the side of the cake, added to the elegant look of this cake

2 Tiers Wedding Anniversary Cakes(Dare to play with colours)

A close up look of a wedding or anniversary cake. Blue and pink colour are used as the theme colour.I normally use a pale shade of blue but this time I used quite a strong colour and the effect can be easily seen. I noticed that this is a good combination of colour and it soon became my favourite. This is the first time i made roses using royal icing. It's quite hard but as soon I have the right consistency of the icing, it turn our to be good. This is not the perfect roses but more of a overly bloom flowers.

To hardern the flower, I need to let it be in a refridgerator for a while and stick it on the cake before delivery.

I particularly love the smoothness of this fondant. It is very smooth and getting a smooth covered cake this is a bonus for both cake maker and the bride.Well done!

This sujee fruit cake was made for Emily& Harvey's Engagment in Bundu Tuhan Ranau and took 5 hours to deisgn and create.So far this is my favourite

2 In 1 Engagement Cake ( 2 in 1 Packages)

Having two receptions for your engagement? One at the lady's house and one at the gentleman's. It is good to have a separate cakes for the occasion since one small size cake like this is hardly enough for the bride to be guest, much more to be shared with the groom to be invitees. So, it is my advice to have two small cake like these two pink and blue cakes to be your engagement cakes.

Engagement Cake ( Table Cloth Design + Ribbon)

Blue theme engagement cake is another favourite. This is suitable for two places/days celebration. at the lady's and at the man's reception.

Cake is much smaller but in 4 inches height. Ribbon insertion method is use to highlight the table cloth. Topper made from a mix flower spray consist of Petunia, Jasmine,Roses and Forget me Knot

Engagement Cake ( Table Cloth Design)

This is another light pink colour engagement cake in smaller size but more in height. Table cloth design require a cake of 3 inches to 4 inches high. The base of the cake is in white and table cloth in pink colour is added to add contrast to the design. at each corner of the table cloth lace, pink sugar flower was added to complement the design.2 Cateliya orkid flower in sweet pink colour made a wonderful cake topper
