It's time for a new resolutions. I have achieved most of my 2008 resolutions. That is why I am happy to add more resolutions this year.

One of them is to produce more interesting cakes, contemporary as this blog of mine said.

Seconds, to have more ready made decoration items for those interested to bake but are too busy to make their own decoration items. Please email if you are interested in any of our previous flower designs.

Third is to start a small class in baking or decorating. I would love to teach younger kids to bake, to give them a glimps of what happen in the kitchen.

I have been purchasing more and more tools from overseas and last month alone, my tools ( emboasser, cutter, venier), books and edible colouring cost me near $300, that is about RM1000. Lokk at these butterflies. I just love it and guess what, this is edible. You can even eat the colour as it is edible. so, don't worry if your kids ate them.

Are you a baker or baker wanabe? When I have just started baking, my greatest concern was how to decorate my cakes or cupcake. I am lousy in decorating and when I check the local baking shop, I could not find any nice decoration items. So, I started to check online. yes, I found some but they only sell them online and it's way to expensive. So last two years I took a course in Sugar Paste making and now I can make my own sugar paste. So, for those of you who would like to use these items for decorating, just email me. Fast Decorating

This is my record in decorating cakes. I bake this cake a day earlier for sure. Hubby told me we are attending a farewell party of Ms.Tan as social worker in QEH. He said you just bake a small cake but make sure it's ready by 7pm.

I came from work at 5.30pm, get everything ready by 6.30 pm.

My normal hour of decorating is 2 hours. Normally I do have an idea how to decorate a cake but sometimes when it comes to the moment when you take out your tools, your current imagination will take control and there and then your creation began. I never plan to decorate it this way but given an hour to prepare everything from melting the butter and cheese, this is the result. Simple but nice.I said it 's nice I don't care what other people think..well, all are quite impressed including my hubby's boss. And having those flowers help me A LOT of headache!!!
