This is my 100th post and it's indeed a pleasure to share with all of you some of my work. Thank you for all your support that make this blog a success.

Sharon ordered these computer gadget cupcakes from me since last month or earlier than that and I am not sure what to do and how to decorate it when I accepted that order. She had an Idea to give her hubby a good surprise. I will leave it to her to tell you on how the hubby react. Too bad his reaction was not caught on camera but according to my delivery boy he is shocked and wandered who sent him that cuppies. He even called my sister who has no idea about it.

I have to admit I never done something like this before. You guys are good at giving me challenges. This is indeed a tough one for me. Yesterday I spent almost the whole day checking the net for ideas and doing the decor on hand. I am glad that it turned out well and Sharon told me that at 9.33am her hubby's colleauges are still looking at the cuppies. His hubby said " The cuppies terlampau cantik untuk dimakan" (Too beautiful to be eaten)..Oh yea..You eat the cuppies and keep the diskette to store your files ya..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

DANIA'S CUPPIES

Honestly I am afraid of using bright colours and more than three colours are too much for me but since i have more request for children's cupcakes and cakes I have to use more and brighter colour. I never plan to go into making children's cake or cupcakes. I am more into wedding cakes and as you know, wedding is Malaysia is still very traditional. Most bride will stick to one or two soft colours. So here is my colourful cuppies for Dania.Dana gave me a picture to sort of copy but I need to share to here that it's almost impossible to copy someone's art work. May be that is the reason that there is only one Van Gogh in the world. I am also not good at doing free hand drawing. I need a lot of practice here..

Shemah ordered mini cupcakes from Faye but since she is not around, she handed the job to me. Decorating mini cupcakes for boys is still a challenge to me. She just said she wanted boyish design. It's quite difficult as he is only 4 years old and not having a son made it more difficult. I am not aware of the latest cartoon kids like nowadays. This is my first attempt in decorating mini cuppies apart from our normal hot selling minis. I really don't know if you can see what I have done with the mini cuppies.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Isaac!

I received a few question regarding cupcakes sizes. I have posted a lot of mini and Souffle Cup size cupcakes and this time, medium size cupcakes. I seldom make this size unless some drawing is required. This is for Isaac's birthday last tuesday. Celine's sister in law Ivy call me and hope I can make Isaac birthday cuppies. It was really a short notice and I bakes just before the major black out that hit Sabah. I only managed to start my decorating at 10.30pm and finished at 1.00am I didn't even realize it. I slept at almost 3am...what a tiring day.Glad Ivy and Celine love the cuppies.

If you want to order this size of cupcakes, It's RM1.50 per piece( for vanilla and chocolate only) and I advise you to order either 48 pieces or 64 pieces in order for me to pack it nicely like this.And please be informed delivery charge is RM5 donggongon and damai area.

This is our new cupcakes especially for baby fullmoon party. When I first made this I gave some to my nieces to try. They look at it and asked me what are they made of. I told them what do you think. They said it looked like jelly. So I gave to them and waited for the responses. They came the loud shout " Sedapnya" ( It's delicious), I want another one" With that we proceed with making my baby cuppies for her full moon.

Cake for YURI

Lily sms me to request a special cake for her soon to be 1 year old

She sent me two picture of her cake design request. I saw a big 1 on the cake. It doesnt leave any space for me to work. So, I sms Lily and asked her permission to make a smaller 1. She said ok. then she sms she hopes the cake will be nice,colourful and she can't wait to have the cake. She said she wants her son's cake to be special. Can I fulfill her request?

We delivered Yuri's cake in the afternoon of 13th April 2008

Around 9 .20 pm I received a text messages from her : "What a creative cake..Everybody is surprised when they saw the cake..so lovely n so special but the cake seems a bit dry..but overall ok". ( I put the cake in the fridge prior to delivery)

Then she added: "Yuri is very happy today. besides Yuri, the cake was the 2nd staring today.."

This is just a simple cake i decorated but I am happy to make Yuri happy..my mission is complete.

Aunty J asked in her comment what should she pick for her Ethan's birthday, cake or cupcakes. It depends on how big the occasion is. If you order a cake,make sure the sizing is enough to feed your guest. If you ask me, I prefer to have both. I love seeing children standing by the table enjoying looking and waiting to grab the cuppies. Cuppies are a trend now as it's easier to distribute. There is no need to cut and easy to eat as well. Having said that and being traditional, it's good to have a piece of cake for a special birthday celebration. It's presentable and again, it's a tradition to have one. So my sincere advice ( not for the sake of selling) have cake and may be some cupcakes for a special birthday like 1 month old, 1 year old, 16th, 21st and the rest, go for cupcakes.It's the IN thing now. I love this baby figurine ( I have a baby boy figurine too) and bought it without thinking much. I was thinking of using it for any of my friend's full moon party. Little did I know I will be using it for my own baby's first full moon party. Initially I was thinking of a pink and white theme colour but sister suggested that we add light green. Well, what do you think? This for sure will be my sister next favourite. Look at Miranda's blog. She is getting the same colour theme for Meredith's 9th years old birthday this year. Thank you to dear sister suggestion, the cake turn to look great. My niece asked me ' How did you make those blanket? " So I tried to explain to her how made it. Then I told her " Learn from us so that you can be our helper" She just smiled. I heard some people asked " Is that a real cake or just a decoration" ha ha he I hope it's a compliment.
